My First Exhibition: The Colours of Myanmar
Two weeks ago was the opening night of my first solo photography exhibition! Taking place in London at The Ritzy in Brixton, ‘The Colours of Myanmar’ is a colour popping display of photos that I took on my travels to the beautiful South East Asian country earlier this year.
The whole exhibition was a great process to get stuck into. From narrowing down exactly what prints to display, to deciding on sizes, the exact print paper (I never imagined there would be so many options!) and hanging configurations.
The opening night went really well, helped along by south-east Asian inspired canapés served on banana leaves, lots of wine and a DJ (thank you DJ Caitlin!). A lovely big crowd of people came down which was just so great to have their support, so a huge big thank you to everyone who popped along!
‘The Colours of Myanmar’ is on at Upstairs at the Ritzy in Brixton (London) until 3rd November, so pay a visit if you can, and let me know if you make it there!
Here are just a few photos of the night (thanks to Miles and Isaac):
