Taste of London

The Taste of London food festival was in town last week…and it was foodie heaven indeed!  As I work for ACHICA, it was the perfect opportunity for us to invite a selection of food and lifestyle bloggers along to learn about some of the brands that are stocked on the site.

Set in Regent’s Park, this foodie wonderland was full of brands showing off their finest products and dishes from across the food and drink sector, as well as a selection of entertainment thrown in for good measure.  With 40 of the city’s best restaurants and over 200 artisan producers and premium brands there was something for everyone keen to explore the limits of their taste buds.

The first stop on the tour was to the Tails stand where the bloggers met Nick, the founder.  Tails make natural ready-made all natural cocktails, which come all packaged in shakers so all you need to do is shake and pour.  The Mai Tai, Expresso Martini, Elderflower Collins and Cosmopolitan were all…amazing… and strong!  *hiccup*

Second up was a stop off at The Olive Oil Company where we sampled the olive oil treats by dipping bread, and vinegar by sipping off a spoon Mediterranean medicine style.

The third and final stop was with Herefordshire based Chase Distillery.  Made at the family owned distillery, the vodka has been voted World’s Best – and now they make Marmalade vodka too… it’s healthy right?
