“I’ve been living in France for the past three months doing a patisserie course.  You integrate so internationally here, which is unusual, and something you don’t get to experience very often.  It’s been really nice getting close with people from the four corners of the world.  I’ve learnt a lot from other people’s experiences, and I’ve learnt that language barriers are not such barriers, and no matter what someone’s religion, culture, or background, there’s usually quite a lot of common ground. That’s been quite a revelation.  I feel very strongly that whatever you decide to do, 99% of how much enjoyment you get from it is based on the people you’re with.  I’m still the same person from three months ago, but life is a bit more colourful now.”
