New York New York!  And pretty much everywhere else in the States, Americans are fiercely proud of their country and the number of flags displayed in just a few residential streets I walked down when I went in December time a few years ago was worth capturing.  Can you see - even on top of one building there is a small flag half way down it, and a teeny tiny Statue of Liberty resting on top of a column on the roof.  Stars and stripes floating around in the breeze...you're not going to forget what country you're in!
