“I’ve been to the flower auction in Holland quite a few times, Aalsmeer. It’s really big, there are tons and tons of flowers and it’s totally different from the auctions you get in England. We’ve got someone who does the buying for us over there, but we go over there once or twice a year just for a nosey around, to see if there are any new flowers coming through or new stuff to sell. We get a lot of tourists here. It’s not good for trade because they don’t buy anything; they just take pictures and run away. This time of the year the most popular selling flowers are all the Spring flowers – tulips, ranunculus, freesia, stocks. Every season’s different.”
